Mark your calendars for Friday January 10!  We will have a glow party at Skate Zone from 5-7pm (skaters can stay for open skate from 7-10pm for no additional charge).  Admission is $4 and skate rental is $3.

Do you sing, dance, tell jokes, do magic tricks, practice martial arts, do gymnastics, play an instrument or act?  We would love to see it!

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting our annual talent show on January 24 at 7pm.  Doors open at 6:30pm.   Sign up below!

Acts will be limited to 2 minutes and must be family friendly.  Sign ups will be limited to the first 20 acts.  There will be a mandatory rehearsal at 6:30pm on Thursday January 24  (you don’t need to stay the whole time and if you can’t be there right at 6:30pm, just let us know).

This is a very low-key, supportive atmosphere.  There are no prizes, judges or pressure to be perfect.  Come and have fun!

Our annual Holiday Shop is December 7 from 11am-2pm.  This event allows students to shop for their family members with the help of high school volunteers.  Our gifts are affordable and will be treasured by all ;).  While your child shops, parents can browse vendors in the commons area.  WE NEED VENDORS!  Here is the electronic form if you are interested: ACES Vendor Form

NEW THIS YEAR: UPaint Pottery will be in attendance for students to paint gifts for loved ones.  They will be taken back to the studio to fire and will be delivered back to ACES.

We are so grateful to our treasurer,  Nikki!  She is relocating to Cincinnati with her family and we will miss her terribly.  Her shoes were so big to fill that we have filled them with 2 wonderful ladies, Larken H. and Leslie H! Welcome Ladies!  We are so happy to have you!

Trunk or Treat is on Friday October 25 from 5:30-7pm.  It will be indoors.  Please enter through the parent drop off/Y-Club doors on the east side of the building.  Come in costume and bring a bag to collect your goodies!

We won the competition with Cheshire Elementary which means our MOD pizza night made $299.55.   Our Red Robin Spirit Night made $155.79.  These fundraisers take very little effort and we’ve made over $450 for simply going to dinner.  Coming up next are spirit nights with Chipotle (November 12) and Taranto’s Pizza (December 3 & 4).  We appreciate all of the support!

Are you ready for this????   We made $23,109.27 from our Fun Run.  We are thrilled with this amount and are very grateful for your support!

We are soooo excited for our fun run on August 28 and 29!  Our team leaders have done a great job getting our kids pumped up for the event.  This is our MAIN fundraiser for the year and what we count on to meet our $32,260 budget for the year!  We truly appreciate your support for our kids!

Come bid on some amazing items.  Here is a link to the specific packages and their contents LIST OF BASKETS.  It is a silent auction so return frequently to the library to check on your favorite baskets.  At 7pm, bidding will end. Winners will be texted between 7-7:15pm and will need to come back to the library to pay for their items by 7:30pm.  Must be present to win or we will move to the next highest bid. All proceeds go directly back to ACES PTO to fund our events (field trips, assemblies, Enrichment Day, author visits, Parents’ Night Out, etc.)

School Supply Shopping Made Easy!

IF you want to order supplies, please see the document below or check out this website ACES 19-20 School Supply Order Website.  Nope, you don’t have to order them but the convenience is hard to beat.  They will be in your child’s classroom waiting for them at Open House (Tuesday August 13 from 4-6pm).  Save yourself the shopping run around and the crowds.  Orders must be placed by June 10, 2019.
