YEAH!  We have updated wish lists for our amazing staff members, just in time for staff appreciation week and end of year fun!  Of course, they appreciate anything but why not get them their favorites???

Art Show Student Raffles

This year  we are excited to announce the addition of student raffles and silent auction to our beloved art show.

During lunch April 29-May 3, students will be able to purchase raffles tickets for $.50 each or 3/$1.00.  Every student will be given 1 FREE ticket! Winners will be drawn at school on Monday May 6.  Need not be present to win!  Students can use their raffle tickets for a chance to win the following baskets:

  • Movie Night
  • End of Day Office Helper
  • Fidgets/Sensory Tools
  • Ice Cream & Sweet Treats

April PTO Meeting

We have our April meeting coming up quickly on April 8 at 7pm in the ACES library.  We have several items on the agenda including 19-20 officer and chair nominations.  The nominating committee has put together a great slate for our officer team and have several committee chairs filled.  Don’t worry, there is still plenty of opportunity to help!  Please review the attached doc.  If your name is listed, please check your contact info.  If you are surprised your name is listed or would like to help out in any way, please email us at [email protected]  We will find a spot for everyone interested!  See you Monday!

Parents’ Night Out

Come join us Friday April 12 from 6-9pm!

Drop your child/ren off at the school commons area for a PTO Movie Night!  We will be showing Peter Rabbit!  Pizza, popcorn/chips and drinks will be provided.  We will also have a craft activity.

$15 for the first child, additional siblings $10

Additional Info:

  • Bring a blanket/pillow/stuffed animal so your child is comfortable
  • Children are welcome to wear pajamas
  • All Alum Creek students, preschool-Grade 5 are welcome (must be potty-trained)
  • Parents will be required to sign children in/out with contact information.

Alum Creek Families,

First grade teacher, Ameera French, has been nominated to win a free cruise for being such an amazing educator! It would be greatly appreciated if you could vote everyday through April 12th. Moments with Mom Information

Family Registration

Update 2-28-19  We now have 150 families with over 200 students registered.  TOMORROW March 1 is the deadline if you want to be included (or receive) the directory.

Update 1-16-19 We now have 115 families with 166 students registered!  Keep spreading the word!

Update 12-27-18 We now have 87 families with 123 students registered!  This is great but we need several more before we can consider this enough info to do a student directory.  Please check with your neighbors and friends to make sure they register.

We are excited to roll out our new website!  This will be our main communication for all PTO activities, fundraisers and volunteer opportunities.  In order to get the most of our website, we will occasionally send emails to alert you of news and ask for help.  Please register your family HERE !

Registration is FREE and all ACES parents are automatically considered part of our PTO.

This registration system will eventually turn into our student directory once we have most families signed up.

Spring Book Fair & Moments with Moms

Spring Book Fair is coming up quickly!  It will be March 4-8 and Mornings with Moms will be March 7 & 8.  Students with the last name A-M and M/Th Kindergarten will be March 7 and N-Z and T/F Kindergarten will be March 8.  More info coming home in backpacks soon!

Conference Dinners for Teachers

Hello!  We will be providing teachers and staff dinners for conference nights on January 31 and February 7.  Please click HERE to sign up.  Still plenty of slots for desserts!

Do you sing, dance, tell jokes, do magic tricks, practice martial arts, do gymnastics, play an instrument  act?  We would love to see it!

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting our annual talent show on January 25 at 7pm.  Doors open at 6:30pm.   Sign up HERE

Acts will be limited to 2 minutes and must be family friendly.  Sign ups will be limited to the first 20 acts.  There will be a mandatory rehearsal at 6:30pm on Thursday January 24  (you don’t need to stay the whole time and if you can’t be there right at 6:30pm, just let us know).

This is a very low-key, supportive atmosphere.  There are no prizes, judges or pressure to be perfect.  Come and have fun!

CPK Pizza with a Purpose

UPDATE!  We made $200 dollars from our fundraiser!  Thank you to all who participated!  This is an easy  way for us to fundraise os look for more flyers to come home!

Please join us on Tuesday January 15 from 11am-9:30pm at CPK and present (or mention) this attached flyer for 20% of your bill to go to ACES PTO!  Only valid for Polaris location but includes take-out, catering, dine-in and all beverages.

Spirit Day is January 11!

Get out those ACES shirts – ACES Spirit Day is coming up on January 11th!  T-shirts are available for purchase for $16 each, with four colors in stock for kids and adults. Contact Amy Yeates at [email protected] to purchase a shirt today!

Hot Cocoa Bar!

A HUGE thank you to those who brought in items!  The hot cocoa bar was a hit and just what the staff members needed to finish a chaotic week!
WOW!!!!  You are amazing!  All spots have been filled!  If you signed up to bring items, please drop them off in the office on Wednesday or Thursday this week.  THANK YOU!  Our ACES staff is going to love this send off to winter break!

This year the PTO is planning a special holiday event for our teachers and staff, and we are looking for volunteers to help!

On Friday, December 21st we are planning a Holiday Cookie and Hot Cocoa Bar at the school to treat our faculty and staff, show our appreciation and spread holiday cheer.

To support this event, we are looking for 15 volunteers to provide cookies or a similar tasty treat (1 dozen/volunteer).

Parents’ Night Out

We will be hosting another Parents’ Night Out on December 14 from 6-9 PM.  Cost is $15 for the first child and $10 for each additional sibling.  We will be watching Incredibles 2, making crafts and having snacks.  For more information, see the flyer linked below. Holiday Shop

Holiday Shopping! Do you sell something and want to rent a space/table for a small fee? Looking for vendors to shop.


We are gearing up for our LAST DANCE A THON! This is our major PTO fundraiser for the year and funds many opportunities for our students throughout the year. Many have asked, where do our funds go? We will be running a Did You Know? campaign throughout the next couple of weeks- please share our posts and help spread the word. Thank you for your support!
