Our PTO does a lot more than just fundraising, but let’s face it, without fundraising we wouldn’t be able to do much. We’re seeking an upbeat, detail-oriented parent to coordinate our fundraising efforts this coming year. The ideal candidate is able to motivate students and parents, think on their feet, and handle last-minute surprises (like Ohio changing its season…which won’t happen again this Spring, right?)

The Teacher Liaison is our not-so-secret connection to find the best ways to support our ACES teachers. We look to our liaison for feedback and ideas to show teachers and staff our appreciation for their amazing efforts all year long.

Seeking new Number Crunchers! We have LOTS of big plans to fund important projects for ACES, and we need two parents to help us count every penny. If you secretly love to categorize expenses and create color-coded charts, you may be the perfect fit for our Recording Treasurer.

Our fearless leader’s term is expiring, and we’re looking for a creative problem-solver who is comfortable delegating and keeping us focused on the agenda instead of talking about our kids or current events. A positive attitude is a big plus along with serious communication/negotiation skills, which lets be honest, most parents have experience with.

The President’s official Partner In Crime position (VP) is also open. Want to be more involved but maybe not take the lead on everything? As VP you’ll be part of decision making throughout the year and help the president get things done – kind like a superhero’s sidekick, but without the silly costume.

Welcome to the ACES Talent show! Calling all talented students- Musicians, Singers, Dancers, Magicians, Comedians etc and much more! Please limit the act to 2 minutes. Open to first 25 sign ups. The Alum Creek Elementary PTO is pleased to offer students the opportunity to do their holiday shopping at the ACES Holiday Gift Shop on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 9 am to 1 pm.

The Holiday Gift Shop will feature more than 100 different items ranging in price from $.75 to $15. All ACES students are invited to shop and purchase gifts for parents, siblings, grandparents, relatives and friends. Some gifts include jewelry, magnets, ornaments, mugs, tools, keychains and more.

Members of the Olentangy High School Service Club will help students shop in the gym. While the children shop, there will be craft vendors and various companies exhibiting in the commons area for parents to visit and shop with.

We are excited to be able to bring back Trunk or Treat! We will have treats and non food items, so please RSVP HERE so we can have enough treats for everyone.

This registration will be our main communication for all PTO activities, fundraisers and volunteer opportunities. We will occasionally send emails to alert you of news and ask for help.
Registration is FREE and all ACES parents are automatically considered part of our PTO.
This registration system will eventually turn into our student directory on November 1. This will be emailed to you as a PDF. You can register for our website and NOT participate in the directory if you choose.
